Gaming Accessories for PC and Rhythm Game Setups

Gaming accessories add input devices and hardware to a gaming setup. This collection covers three product types: a Hall effect controller, a handheld PC gaming console and a dance mat, each suited to a different style of play.

Main product types

• IonGrip is a Hall effect controller. Hall effect controllers use magnetic sensors in the thumbsticks instead of contact-based potentiometers.
• PixelDash is a handheld PC gaming console, a portable device built for playing PC games away from a desk.
• RhythmSpark is a dance mat, a floor pad with foot panels used for rhythm and dance games.

What to compare when choosing

For a controller, compare the platform compatibility, the connection method (wired or wireless), the layout of buttons and sticks, and the size of the grip. For a handheld console, screen size, storage capacity, operating system, battery capacity and available ports are the usual points.

For a dance mat, check the size of the mat, the number and arrangement of panels, the surface material and whether it connects by cable or adapter. Floor space and the type of flooring also affect which mat fits a room.

Typical use settings

A Hall effect controller is used at a desk or in front of a TV for PC gaming. A handheld PC console is used on the couch, while traveling or at a desk dock. A dance mat is used in living rooms, game rooms and family play sessions where rhythm games run on a PC or compatible system.
