Signal Reading, Presets and Scan Modes

Signal Reading and Tone

A digital signal reading appears on the screen while an audible tone changes as you adjust the dish. You can watch the display and listen to the tone at the same time.

Satellite Presets

Choose a satellite from the preset list and follow the on-screen prompts, or enter custom coordinates. The finder calculates the AZ and EL angles for the satellite you select.

Four Scan Modes

Auto, Blind, Manual, and NIT scan modes are available. NIT scan reads network information, and the finder shows the satellite ID on screen so you can check which satellite you are on.

Housing and Screen

The finder has a reinforced housing and a backlit screen. It is used on rooftops, at RV sites, and on boat decks, and it comes with a carry backpack.

Frequently Asked Questions

It has its own rechargeable battery and charges through a Type-C port. It does not depend on a separate power cable while you work at the dish.

SkyPointe Pro supports DiSEqC 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2, Unicable, and 0/22kHz tone. This covers standard universal LNBs, free-to-air setups, and many pay-TV dish systems.

Place it inline between the LNB cable and the receiver using the signal cable. Then choose your satellite and adjust the dish while you watch the display and listen to the tone.

The finder reads the satellite's ID data and shows it on screen. Use the NIT scan mode and compare the displayed ID with the satellite you picked before you tighten the dish.

AZ is azimuth, the horizontal direction, and EL is elevation, the vertical angle. SkyPointe Pro calculates both for the preset satellite or coordinates you select.

Pick one from the preset satellite list, or enter custom coordinates. Then follow the on-screen prompts. The manual covers each menu and scan mode in more detail.

The digital signal reading is on the finder's backlit screen, and the tone plays from the finder. Both are available at the dish while you work.

Yes. The finder is compact and battery-powered, so it can be used with RV, tripod, and other portable dish setups. A carry backpack is included for transport.

SkyPointe Pro is a satellite finder with four scan modes: Auto, Blind, Manual, and NIT. The NIT mode is used to confirm which satellite the dish is pointed at, rather than only showing signal strength.

The SkyPointe Pro satellite locator ships with the finder itself, a signal cable, a user manual, and a carry backpack. It also has a rechargeable battery that charges over a Type-C connection.

SkyPointe Pro: A Satellite Finder for Dish Alignment

SkyPointe Pro is a satellite finder for aiming dishes on rooftops, RVs, and boat decks. As a dish satellite finder, it connects inline between the LNB and the receiver, so the reading and tone come from the dish location.

Used as a satellite locator, it offers a preset satellite list or custom coordinates and calculates AZ and EL angles. Four scan modes, Auto, Blind, Manual, and NIT, cover different setups. As a dish pointer, it plays a tone while the dish is adjusted.

The rechargeable battery charges over Type-C. The unit supports DiSEqC 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2, Unicable, and 0/22kHz tone, and it serves as a satellite signal meter for universal LNB setups. Installers and DIY users can carry this satellite finder to campsites or rooftops.
